Hybrid's Sanctum

I am spending a lot of time working on an interactive story called Hybrid's Sanctum; Most of the OCs you see in my content and drawing streams are in this world. It's a story involving a lot of heavy subject matter, though it's something I've poured a lot of my feelings and experiences into over the last few years- and now I'm working with some friends to truly develop it into something special.I'm working on creating a separate page to fully showcase what I have for it so far, though please be aware it is VERY bare bones and not close to complete! Rules!

This whole page is basically me trying to lay out what I am and am not comfy with; I will not be upset if you don't remember all of this LMAO but as long as you maintain an effort to be understanding, we should be okay!More or less I'm just doing this tbh

Some things to know when interacting with me!

This is basically me establishing things such as difficulties with communication, and some hard rules / boundaries I have! This applies to any interaction with me, DMing me, server messages, etc.

💠I generally enjoy talking about my interests, and listening to others' as well! I am usually okay with DMs, but have become rather dry with responses due to lack of time and energy. I'd much rather talk in server, especially when it comes to receiving "hi" DMs and the like (,,which I will 100% ghost I'm sorry pls at least open w something that differentiates u from a solicitor or bot)💠If I ask to change the subject, please do so- and (in server / private interactions) the same goes for telling me! I am awful at recognizing when something is off, and the last thing I want is for someone to think I have ill intent when I don't. The same goes for things like trauma dumping, I talk about my past sometimes a bit too openly at times and while some people are chill with it, if you find it to be a discomfort please tell me and I will absolutely not be upset about it! I'll likely use tone tags to try to help as well qwq💠I tend to talk in paragraphs / text walls low-key, if you have issues with reading long texts like that let me know so I can accommodate!💠I go on tangents a lot, you are absolutely okay to remind me if you'd like to get back on topic :>💠I really don't like discussing politics in any form. This includes things such as certain media being problematic; they're important subjects, but not ones I want to discuss with most people.💠I really live under a rock and don't process a lot of passive visual media too well (manga/webtoons, anime, shows/series, movies, etc.) If you like talking about concepts themselves, I tend to bridge to my own interests and discuss that way! (I.E. if someone shows me Neuvilette from Genshin and talks about his struggles with recognizing social constructs, I can think of Nagisa from Enstars and be like "Man I LOVE that kind of writing, because-" But please know that I'm not likely able to directly discuss a lot of common interests / media that most people can!💠I don't quite know how to properly describe it, but essentially if you have a heavy "Proshippers DNI" preference, there's a fair chance we won't get along. I say this because of my interest in Dottore and similar characters, and my own strong preference to be able to separate what's reality and what's fiction, and the difference of consuming that content vs. dealing with it in a real life situation with real consequences. I get extremely uncomfortable with a lot of concepts that are associated with the term (like 90% of it basically) but because of how I view problematic characters like Dottore / I recognize this kind of media consumption is a coping mechanism for many people with related trauma, I know I'm essentially put in the same boat....Which is weird too bc I don't really ship characters skshksbs (aside from the infamous duo,,) like if the art is pretty and doesn't make me feel icky then it's pretty art qwq- Wrio/Chlorinde and Wrio/Neuvi for example are both ships I enjoy💠On that note, I enjoy seeing how people interpret characters on their own level! Even if things are more ooc, one of my favorite parts of fandoms is seeing people's personal views and ideas related to it. If you are a person who attacks things like rarepairs, headcanons people have that are unrelated to canon, or otherwise need a justification for how people interpret media / why someone's interpretation is 'wrong' / whatever else, I will not be likely to get along well I'm sorry to say :spiral:This is not the same as correcting a misconception (such as Wrio being colorblind, if I believed it was canon and you inform me it's not, that's different from this!) It's more the aggression factor of "that'll never happen" because yes, I'm aware lmao💠My active hours are low-key RNG, so I do not mind late responses / messages at odd hours and all that! Send whatever you'd like to talk about (including a check in if you believe I forgot to respond, which has happened before!) and I'll continue conversation overtime as I'm able!💠Generally speaking, I tend to prefer a small open environment (ie. my server) over DMs! I may be active in a server and not a DM depending on the content and where my energy levels are at, as it's less personal / I put less focus into these interactions.💠If I learn you're a minor and lied about your age, I will not be happy. I like discussing characters in both SFW and NSFW terms, to the right audience. I understand especially with later teens that the interest is gonna be there regardless, hell I was in the same boat, which is honestly why I'm a bit lax when it comes to suggestive art, jokes, etc. but straight up if I learn I've been talking explicit content with a minor then I'm blocking + banning you.

Stream Rules!

This is essentially a (very) long version of the basic rules I have on YouTube, and most viewers should not have to read through all of this; it's mainly there as low key disclaimers honestly, so I can hopefully cut down arguing/bad interactions easier. There's also actual disclaimers, given my work and discussion with tech and character psychology- and my general inability to draw a line in interactions that go into more sensitive content unless I specify a bunch of guidelines like this beforehand lmaoBut tbh it's mostly general stream etiquette, mixed with my general interaction preferences above!

💠Please keep basic respect to me, fellow viewers, and anybody who I may be with on stream. Blatant hatred and negativity will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, you know the drill. Adding on to that, even if you can reclaim slurs, please don't use them here.💠Don't send any links in chat.💠Don't self promo/talk about other streamers in chat, unless it's directly pertaining to the current conversation; same goes for promoting me in other streamer's chats.💠Don't spam across multiple messages, or be excessive in emote spamming.💠Given that I can only understand English, please refrain from chatting in other languages I can't moderate.💠No backseat gaming. I appreciate tips or suggestions, but being aggressive or otherwise negative will result in a mute.💠No political speech, or commentary on problematic media. There may occasionally be exceptions on subjects I feel more comfortable discussing (ex. why I prefer to draw some Hoyoverse characters with darker skin tones) but unless it's directly relevant and actively being discussed, please leave this discussion for a different environment.💠Please don't trauma dump- I'm open to passively talking about small scale things you wanna share, for lighter subjects. But at the end of the day, I am a streamer on YouTube, not a therapist, and can't help with heavier subjects that could potentially make myself or others uncomfortable.💠Talking before stream is allowed, and very much encouraged; talking to each other even more so! Off topic chatter both to me and with other viewers is fine for most situations; However, please try to stay somewhat on topic if we're actively talking about something specific!💠Please be mindful of your tone. I am not picky with this, generally speaking if you have good intentions, you are okay. However, it has come up, as these have been direct quotes of messages I've dealt with in past.

Disclaimers!

TECHNOLOGY, TINKERING, AND MODDING DISCLAIMER:

When I work on hardware streams or otherwise show bits of my work, do NOT take my work as an example or tutorial. I highly encourage tinkering, but in a safe environment, with dedicated knowledge on the subject either already obtained, or present through videos or some other means that are specifically meant as a tutorial or guide.All of the work I do is on my own property, or was otherwise given permission, and possibility of loss and/or damages has already been acknowledged and accepted. The work I do live on stream is often not in correct practice, and I do not have a proper work area set up / preparations that you should make to work on something you want to clean or otherwise fix; I do this fully accepting the risk of damaging my own property, as I am able to properly work on it off camera if something breaks. Any content or posts I have where I discuss things related to tech repair are my own experience, but should not be taken as reference material. I know how to fix a lot on things, but as to why or how those things work, or how to undo major damage should it come down to it, becomes a lot more uncertain.

TLDR: The work I do on stream is meant for entertainment, not education. Don't use me as a reference.

REGARDING PSYCHOLOGY DISCUSSION:

While I talk about the mind and people's thought processes a lot, bear in mind I am talking purely from my own observation, with my own biases. I will talk about my personal experiences, thoughts, and opinions, and how I think others reach different conclusions; things I say are based on how it worked out for me, but will not necessarily have similar results to others and is not to be taken as advice. I discuss these things mostly for the sake of character writing, rather than real life issues.I am not a professional by any means, and if you need help, please seek out a way to talk to someone who is. While I passively learn and research concepts, I'm just an average person, who has yet to solve a lot of their own issues.

TLDR: Anything I say regarding psychology should be seen as nothing more than what it is; discussion, mostly for the sake of writing. If you need help, please find it from a source that can properly give it to you.

My model was a collaborative effort between myself and Xysible on YouTube! I came up with base character concept, discussed it with him and a few other friends, and when I finished the lines and base colors, he did the shading.Rigging was done by myself, on the free version of Live2D no less LMAO

Dawnjuu Base Code

The Dawnjuu are slightly modified from an open source branch of Shimejii by kilkakon, whose version was based off another group that is credited on their page. I have been using it since I was in high school, it's one of my favorite dumb little pc mods!

My audio is captured with Mark Smirnov's Bluetooth Audio Receiver (Windows App), its really good with latency so I can play rhythm games and hear the audio I'm recording without messing with note timing offsets! My tablet has latency issues with wired solutions, so this was a perfect remedy to that!I have yet to find a mobile screencast program that I like qwq

Switch Streaming

In past streams, I used Yuzu to emulate games I owned and wanted to stream for sake of ease / performance.
In the future, I'll likely just overclock my Switch / use my capture card qwq

PNG Guest Animation

Tutorials!

ifixit.com has some good tutorials on several things, depending on the person writing it; I'd reccomend them as a base of understanding a job , but be sure to look around between different YT videos and Reddit to double check others' experiences; especially when it comes to more niche work, more recently released hardware, or if you need info on repairing a specific model (which is also extremely helpful if you're new to repairing imo)

I use a Wacom Cintiq 13HD.

My Microphone:

I use a Blue Yeti USB Mic, however let it be noted that it was the same one I used for all of my streams, including my older ones; the sound quality improved as we worked on creating a sound cancelling environment, and without that I'd honestly reccomend investigating other mics. We had it already from a past project, which is why we avoided replacing it.My sound environment was created using a bunch of acoustic foam to more or less cover the walls in our closet, with a bunch of towels sewn together as a curtain 'door'. I also have a mic isolation shield with it.

My Cameras:

My tracking camera is a Logitech C930 and my handcam is a Razer Kiyo Pro.

My Capture Card:

Music Used:

All music used in my streams is by NEFFEX, with tracks from the non-copyrighted list of music from youtube- I really vibe with the sound, so I just have that quietly in the background sometimes qwqMy favorites are Changing, which is my opener; The one after it, Catch Me If I Fall, and my top favorite is what I end with, Dreaming On!

The outro music I use on clipped video uploads is Take Another Dose by a very small indie band that I loved as a kid, A Poison Alibi- their following was very very small, they didn't get much out and it seems they have since dissolved. I'm honestly very saddened they never took off bc they had cool music :(

When Tenebrus is on my streams, the music I use aside from Neffex's work is a mix between different artists on the same royalty free library from youtube- if you'd like any song names, please ask!
